Welcome to the website of the
Music of St John's Church.
Here at St John's we carry on a thriving musical tradition that stretches back for over one hundred years. Music is an important part of the liturgy of the Church. There are two full choral services each Sunday, and the Choirs sing a wide and eclectic variety of music. The building has a fine acoustic which enhances the choral sound, and we can boast the finest organ for miles around!
This summer, the Choir spent an enjoyable week in
Wells Cathedral singing to daily offices to great critical acclaim
from the congregations and clergy.
